Getting your site's colors right not only makes it look beautiful, it is also essential for making it easy to use and read for you visitors and members.
To adjust your main colors, under the Admin tab click on the Design button:
At the most basic level, you can adjust the colors of the following in your site's design page (see below for a screenshot of where you can edit the colors):
- Color: Any links on your new site will have this color assigned to them. This includes links to a member’s profile, the Like button, to a blog post, to an external site etc.
- Site Background: Your site’s background (if you’re using one of the template designs) can be shaded in any color you like in the Design Center.
- Headings: Titles on your site will all have one specific color, from Blog titles to Section headings.
The website cover image that you use should match the color scheme that you are using for these elements.

We also recommend avoiding light colors for text (so especially headings and links), because this makes them harder to read and reduces usability of your new website.
Some good places to get inspiration for colour schemes are:
Remember, using too many different colors all at once can confuse your visitors and make it much harder to read your site's content – the main thing is to keep it simple!
