All your site's pages are built and edited in the 'Build' section of your admin center.
To add a new page to your site, click on 'Admin' in the toolbar.
Then click on 'Build' in the green toolbar and there will be an 'Add a page' button on the left hand side of the page.
When you click the 'Add a Page' button, a pop-up will appear on screen.
You can add 8 different page types to your site:
- Blank Page:
A blank page. Widgets can be added to this, including custom code, text, community activity widgets, video embeds and more. If you're not quite sure what you want to build, playing around with a blank page can be a good exercise.
- Text Page:
A simple text page to your site. This is useful for adding static information pages to your site such as About Us with images and links. You can still add any other widgets to this page, but as a standard, it will have a text box already set up.
- Blog Page:
Add a blog to your site which can include text, photo or video posts. In the page settings you can restrict who can add posts to it and what they can post. This is a great way of engaging your members and gives them a one-click-solution to contributing content.
- Forum Page:
Add sub-forums by creating forum pages. These will appear as a drop-down from the main Forum button in your black top bar (UMC).
Add sub-groups to your website. If you allow users to register on your site this allows them to find and join sub-groups of like-minded people already on your site. These will appear as a drop-down from the main Groups button in your black top bar (UMC).
Add events to your site so user and group owners can organize events so everyone know whats happening. These will appear as a drop-down from the main Events button in your black top bar (UMC).
Add a photo gallery to your website. You can add photos directly or include photos shared through your website streams. You can also pick whether you want people to be able to add photo albums or single photos.
- Redirect Link:
Add a link in your navigation which redirects users to another URL. Any redirect links will open in a new tab or window.
