The ‘Invite Contacts’ widget is an easy way for you to share your website with friends and people you know. Once on your site, you or any members and visitors can invite friends or contacts through a few simple steps.
To do this, follow the instructions below:
1. Head to the Site Builder via the ‘Website Management’ drop down at the top of your site.
2. At the bottom of the page you will find the ‘Invite Contacts’ widget. Drag and drop into the site builder’s main display area or sidebar.
3. Choose which invite button you would like to be displayed on your site and click ‘save’.
4. Once on your website, click the ‘Invite Contacts’ button to open the pop up.
Here you can invite contacts from your email accounts with any of these four providers. Click 'Grant Access' when asked and click the contacts you wish to share with. If you make a mistake and add someone by accident, simply press the cross next to the name of the recipient in the recipients box.
If you wish to change the Subject and/or Personal Message you can edit these items to add a more personal touch. The preview link will show what your email invite will look like to your invitees. Click the ‘Send’ button to invite your email contacts to your website.
You can also invite and share the website through other social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter. Click on the 'Social' tab and here it will give you the option to post the link of the site to your Facebook wall or Twitter feed, for example.
Once invited, friends and people who visit your SocialGO site can also join and become members too.
