The UMC is the header bar which appears along the top of your website. The links in this bar help users navigate between the main pages on your site and to other areas such as Account Settings for members and Website Management for the site administrator.
When first visiting a site the UMC bar will have two options:
Click 'Log In' to enter the site if you are already a member or administrator or if you are not a member but would like to join, click 'Sign Up'.
When logged in as the Administrator here is the bar you will now see:
There are many different options to select here which are:
Website Management: Hover over Website Management for more options to drop down beneath.
Open Admin: This will take you to the Dashboard of the Admin center.
*Moderators will also see this option*
Site Builder: This will link you directly to the Site Builder in the Admin center.
Add new page: A pop-up will appear for you to add a new page to the site. After adding a title and clicking save, you will be taken to the Site Builder.
When Members are logged in this is the bar that they will see:
Notifications: When someone interacts with you your notification count will rise. (e.g. post on your wall, comments on something you have posted). Click on notifications to view who has interacted with you.
New blog post: Click this if you want to add a new blog post.
Username: Hover over your username on the UMC bar. More options will drop down beneath it.
Account Settings: Within Account Settings you can change your email address and password. You can also link your account with Facebook and Twitter and set your email notification settings.
Change Photo: Add, remove or change your profile photo.
Log out: Sign out from SocialGO.
